And it's actually the 1st time I paint this bad boy, and I am so glad it was finecast. I don't know if this was always an issue, but as you can see below, a lot of cutting, grinding sanding and filling was needed to get the top of the armor to fit properly. I can't imagine doing this on a the metal version without swearing and drinking, both heavily.
And here are a couple more shots of the completed beast, with a fitting armor top.
