The NOVA Open, Part 2

The Road to Nova, some sort of preface.

I spent the week before the tournament building and painting a Daemon list that me and my buddy Vignola designed when 7th came out.  It’s not a list full of tweaks and tricks, nobody’s gonna be in awe towards the list building involved.

Kairos the Fateweaver
Great Unclean One, Exalted Reward, Level 2
11 Horrors
11 Horrors
11 Horrors
Daemon Prince of Nurgle, Armor, Wings, Level 3, 2 Greater Rewards
Daemon Prince of Nurgle, Armor, Wings, Level 3, 2 Greater Rewards
Daemon Prince of Nurgle, Armor, Wings, Level 3, 2 Greater Rewards

Another player that I did not catch the name played the same list with a units 13 and 17 horrors instead of 3 units of 11 like me, which leaves your Warp charge pool intact with Perils and Sacifice,  so on the safer side.

With my plan set, a nice and hopefully capable army, we set road for Arlington.  The drive from the untamed north takes roughly 13 hours with minimal pit stops and without not at all getting lost in Arlington and navigate using an incomplete map back to the hotel.  On a totally unrelated note, I freakin’ rule as a co-pilot, I got us back on track through missed highway exits and navigated through Arlington with an incomplete map.

Unlike other venues I've attended, NOVA is set at the heart of the city, rather than some remote location ( remote location is not a big deal, this is just bonus tourist points )  The hotel minibus takes you to the metro/bus station where you can then ride around all of Washington’s amazing places you see in movies.
